On Hoverla and Svidovets

(a mountain pedestrian route, 2-nd category of complexity)

The duration of the route is 8 days, extent 90 km. All-the-year-round. LINE OF A ROUTE: Yasinia (tourist center "Edelweiss") - v. Laseshchyna - the gorge Koz'meshchik (shelter "Hoverla") - polonyna Hropa - mountain Hoverla (2061 m) - shelter "Hoverla" - Yasinia (tourist center "Edelweiss") - polonyna "Dragobrat" (shelter) - mountain Blyznytsa (1883 m) - shelter "Dragobrat" - Yasinia (tourist center "Edelweiss")
COST OF THE VOUCHER: for the adults - 286 hrn.
for the children till 12 years old - 240 hrn.
(8 complete days with the nourishment, 8 lodgings for a night: 4 - on the tourist center "Edelweiss" , 4 - on the shelters) The voucher gives the right on 2-3-4- places accommodation on the tourist center "Edelweiss", shelters "Hoverla", "Dragobrat", three meals a day, tourist-excursion service, use of the marching equipment. The tourists carry in the rucksacks only the things of the individual usage and set of products. The additional auto excursions and entrance on the territory of reserve are paid by the tourists. The delay or departure before the appointed time without the valid reasons are not compensated.

The description of a route:

1-st day. The tourists arrive to the tourist center "Edelweiss" (four-storey wooden building) and are placed in the rooms for 2-3-4 persons with the convenience on a storey; hot shower bath is in the other building according to schedule. The services to the having a rest include the restaurant, tourist room, hire of the tourist equipment, cafe, river beach. After the introductory conversation about Transcarpathian region the visitors get acquainted with the program of a route, safety measures in a march.
2-nd day. The foot excursion on the Guzul settlement Yasinia. For an additional payment the auto excursion in a city - resort Yaremche is offered.
3-rd day. The food passage during 15 km to a shelter "Hoverla". After 2 km of a way - the acquaintance with a monument of architecture of the XVIII c. - wooden church on Plitovate. Over a village Lazeshchina, known by the Guzul embroidery and woodcarving, there is a control post of Yasinia's forest enterprise, where the tax $0,4 for an entrance on the territory of the Carpathian biosphere reserve is levied. Further 10 km of a route passes on an earth road by the left bank of the river Lazeshchyna. By the end of day the tourists spend the night in a mountain shelter "Hoverla" (plank beds, sleeping bags). There is stove heating (fire wood). The cooking on the stove (fire wood). There is the hot shower bath (according to schedule).
4-th day. An ascent on Hoverla (2061 m, 9 km + 9 km). The lodging for a night in a mountain shelter.
5-th day. The returning to the tourist center "Edelweiss" (15 km).
6-th day. The foot passage (12 km) on a shelter "Dragobrat" (1250 m). During the road - acquaintance to an architectural monument of the wood architecture of the XVIII c. - Strukovska church. After the village Svydovets the road goes by the picturesque gorge Diana, also included in the structure of the Carpathian biosphere reserve. The 2-storey shelter "Dragobrat" is built in 1963. The travelers spend the night in the rooms in 6-8 persons. The meal is cooked on a fire or electric stoves.
7-th day. An ascent on the mountain ridge Svydovets and mountain Blysnytsa (1883 m), where edelweisses grow. Returning to a shelter "Dragobrat". The supper is cooked. The fire burns. The games, quizzes are carried out, Transcarpathian and tourist songs are learnt.
8-th day. After the breakfast - returning in Yasinia. The dinner at the tourist center "Edelweiss". After the dinner - the preparation for departure. The tourist equipment is returned. The departure at the night (to Lviv) or morning (to Ivano-Frankivsk).
